Like every piece in the PI line, the bench has been crafted from solid FSC-certified teak wood sourced from responsibly managed forests. The rich brown hues, whorled grain patterns, and unique natural imperfections that adorn each plank have been lovingly preserved rather than concealed. Gentle undulations, knots, and varied tones from warm honey to deep cocoa are highlighted by a hand-tinted varnish finish. This polished yet purposefully rustic look allows the wood's innate character to take center stage.

The thick, solid teak top appears to float atop curved, organically-shaped legs carved to accentuate the timber's movement and flow. Like a sculptural riverbed, the impressively substantial bases seem to swell and bend naturally, following the grain's sinuous patterns rather than forcing rigid lines.
